    This 6 week class is for beginners with no experience playing the viola. We will start off with basic care and maintenance, and progress to playing simple songs from our method book. The goal of this class is to have fun learning a new instrument! Books are included in the cost. Vermont Violins is offering a discounted rental of $25 viola/bow and $5 for rosin for the duration of the program. Students should come to the first class with a viola.     An exciting opportunity for incoming high school seniors! Student schedules during the fall semester leave many with little time for the many hours involved in crafting a polished essay and applications. Therefore, it makes sense to finish as much of the process as possible over the summer. Students will complete the Common Application, prepare their essay,create a resume, learn interview techniques, discuss recommendation letters and get an overview of the financial aid and scholarship process. Meghan has 20+ years experience in professional college admissions counseling. Students will need to supply their own laptop or tablet to use while attending this program.

    738001 - Drivers Education Course

    Grades 9-12

    This class is for teenagers and or adults who have a current Vermont learner's permit and want to obtain a Vermont Driver's license. This course reflects proven techniques for developing good driving skills and habits. The course consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours of supervised driving, and 6 hours of observation, beyond class room hours. Driving times will be coordinated with instructor.
