    333015 - Girls Lacrosse

    The program's emphasis is on basic skill development (throwing, catching, cradling, dodging), teamwork, conditioning, game strategy and having fun. This league combines the fundamentals of the game as well as competitive play to improve individually and as a team. Teams will travel to neighboring communities; the season ends in tournament play for the 5/6 & 7/8 teams. Jamborees will take place towards the end of the season on five consecutive Sundays. Travel to jamborees will be required.

    This league is part of the Northern Vermont Youth Lacrosse League and requires membership through US Lacrosse prior to registration. Go to https://www.uslacrosse.org/membership Once you have obtained your US Lacrosse number, you will be required to enter your daughters US Lacrosse number at time of registration.

    These athletes will train in both track and field events and compete in two state track meets, as well as dual meets with other area Recreation Depts. State Track Meet will be held on Saturday July 21, 2018.

    Age eligibility for this program is based on child's age as of Aug. 31, 2018.

    823004 - Soccer - Grade 1/2 Co-ed

    Grades: 1st & 2nd


    This league provides participants with an opportunity to learn the game of soccer, improve on their individual skills, and enjoy playing the game while making new friends. The program meets twice a week for 1 hour each time- 1 practice and 1 game per week. The first meeting will be a clinic and assessment session to formulate teams. This program meets on Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 pm.
    The grade for this program is based on Fall of 2018/2019 School year.

    Soccer League begins the opportunity to play other area recreation leagues and players learn and develop teamwork and cooperative play to have success on the field. This is a great opportunity for all levels to learn and play soccer. There will be one practice per week and one game. The first session is a clinic and assessment to formulate teams.
